WE love a happy ending here at Looking Back.
It was delightful to reunite Stephen Hill of Weymouth with a photograph of his late mother this week.
The photo, featuring three women on Weymouth Esplanade, was randomly found by Buckland Ripers resident Amy Butcher in a charity shop in Brighton!
It was taken by one of the professional photographers who had a booth on Weymouth beach.
She brought it to Looking Back and we published it in the paper.
Stephen came forward having never seen this photo before and we have confirmed that this is his mother Frances Hill.
We also have this photo of Frances and he husband Arthur with Stephen on his wedding day in August 1967 at the church in Chickerell.
