TAKE a trip down memory lane to 1952 with Weymouth's donkey boys.
Thank you to Fred Amey, from Weymouth who brought in this wonderful picture looking back to the boys who used to pull the donkey carts along the beach.
Fred said: "Len Downton used to own the donkeys down at Newstead Road in Weymouth. His son John is sat in the donkey cart with the white shirt.
"Larry Triggs is stood in the picture (second from left) with Danny Dench stood behind him.
"They are the only names I know, the boys must all be in their seventies now.
"The Weymouth donkey boys would pull the donkeys along the beach from Marsh Road, next to the blacksmiths."
Do you recognise anyone in this picture or do you remember having a ride on the donkey carts? If so, we'd love to hear from you. Write to us at Looking Back.
