IT'S a sight more commonly seen in the streets of Manchester or London.
But an open top bus parade was in order when Weymouth FC clinched the Conference South championship in 2006.
These wonderful pictures show the celebrations among players and wives and girlfriends as the parade made its way down the Esplanade.
Eleven years ago The Terras claimed a return to non-League football's top flight next season after an absence of 17 years.
Goals from Kirk Jackson and Lee Elam sent the champagne corks flying among more than 800 travelling fans as they won 2-0 at Woodside Park, Bishop's Stortford.
The promotion to the top flight of non league football meant that Weymouth spent the 2006-07 season clashing with the likes of Stevenage Borough, Exeter City, Hereford and Rushden.
