IT'S time to extend a warm Looking Back welcome to Christine Buffrey, who has fulfilled her dream of moving to Weymouth after spending some happy family holidays here.

She remembers visiting the beach, walking along the Prom and having photos taken by the roaming photographers of the day and also visiting Portland Bill.

Christine has now been living in Weymouth for 21 months and hopes that some of you eagle-eyed readers can identify two little girls in a photo who lived at what was the Cornwall House guest house in Weymouth.

She said: "I enjoy remembering the first time I came on a family holiday with my parents and brother in June 1958 - never guessing that I would one day be living here!

"We stayed at Cornwall House - No. 5 Greenhill - now The Molyneaux Guest House."

But

"One picture shows my brother, aged 10, outside Cornwall House (looking very smart!) and the other shows me, aged 14, with the twins who lived there."

Christine says the twins are her reason for writing and sharing the story. She hopes that readers will recognise them as it is such a special photo to her.

She said: "I'm sorry that I don't remember their names but this photo has always been special.

"I guess they were about aged six or so at that time so born in the early 1950s."

If you can help Christine identify this angelic looking pair of twins, get in touch with Looking Back.
