We reuse our paper

JUST HOW GREEN HAVE YOU BEENBy Sharon Heyden, artistic director of Dorchester Arts Centre.

HERE at the arts centre we are extremely green - although I think a lot of people in the arts are.

We use paper three or four times - we put it back in the printer so that we can use both sides and then we use it as scrap paper or in the fax machine.

All the bottles from the bar are collected by the delivery people or our volunteers take them to the recycling station in town. We also use Ecover (an ecologically friendly cleaning brand) in our kitchen when we wash up, to make sure we don't pollute through the drains.

I am also very green at home and have been for years. I recycle everything I can - paper, bottles, plastic and tins and because we live in Weymouth, we put our food scraps out for recycling in the brown bins provided.
