Sun sets a shining example

HAVE you ever thought about the benefits of plugging into the world's biggest light bulb?

A series of seminars coming up will reveal the benefits of harnessing solar energy to heat water and to power homes and businesses. Sessions will include talks on the domestic installation and use of solar thermal and solar photovoltaic (PV) systems and their technical background.

Guest speakers include Dorset County Council's renewable energy expert Simon Taylor, environmentalist Hugh Synge, and Aiden Morris from sustainable energy company Ecofirst.

The seminars take place on Saturday, April 19 at The Exchange, Sturminster Newton. The first session runs from 11am-1pm and the second from 2pm-4pm.

Entrance is £3. To reserve your place call Dorset Agenda 21 on 01305 213721 or visit: www.da21.org.uk
