Design a grim future

IF ACTION is not taken to tackle climate change our planet will be a scary place in decades to come.

That's the thinking behind a new poster competition which is open to Dorset schoolchildren.

Pupils are being asked to design a poster that illustrates what the earth will look like in 2050 if we do not take action.

Packs about the Energy Impact 2050 competition have been sent to primary schools which have until July 1 to get their entries in. Top prize is £1,000 for the school.
