Table top sale raised £518 - thanks very much

The Table Top Sale held at Lanehouse Methodist Church Hall on Saturday, April 26 raised an amazing £518. The committee would like to thank the many people who donated sale items and raffle prizes, with a special thank you to: Kate Austin for her generosity, Sarah Liddell for the badge and raffle ticket sales and Andy from Harbour Times. Finally a big thank you to the many people who came along and supported this very worthwhile cause.

Finally a reader of our Echo (We've too much local government' by Colin Lucas, Echo, April 25) has seen the light as to how us taxpayers are funding a system which must date back over 100 years and as each year goes by is costing more.
