Well done to the recycling teams

So Weymouth and Portland residents are the best in the whole country for reducing waste, ie recycling. Congratulations to us all!

Praise must go to the Weymouth and Portland Borough Council recycling teams. They collect on time - and are only two days later than normal over the Christmas period, when we are advised in all the local papers of the amended dates.

We read of some areas, even as close as West Dorset, not having their waste and recycling collected during the recent bad weather, but ours has been collected, as usual.

If there is ever a problem, an email is responded to promptly and courteously.

So thank you Weymouth and Portland Borough Council for giving a great service and to the residents - keep recycling!
