Taking a short ride on the local bus the other day I had a grandstand view of the appalling amount of litter to be seen on the roads and open areas in Southill.
Quite frankly its disgusting that people should believe it is alright to discard cans, plastic bottles, newspapers, leaflets and even clothing.
Yet, we should not just simply condemn those responsible.
If you live in Southill; it could be you, your son or daughter!
When did you last stop to pick up some of this litter in the hope of making Southill a nicer place to live?
Or have we become so brainwashed by this Socialist Utopia the country voted for, that we expect the state to do everything for us?
