I sincerely hope that the West Dorset District Council does not uphold the ridiculous complaint by a newcomer to Sutton Poyntz.
As Mr Grant Jones quite rightly says, for people to move to the countryside and complain about anything associated with it, is unbelievable.
As a child I just loved being woken by the crowing of my grandparents cockerel, the clucking of the hens, the cows mooing, horses neighing and even the tractors. Maybe estate agents shoud put a warning on country properties for sale to that effect. Lets hope common sense prevails by the council.
