Laugh-a-minute show was fantastic
Having decided against another boring evening in front of the television watching the same old programmes, my wife and I went along to the Pavilion on Saturday evening with our friends to watch Weymouth Drama club's Amateur production of 'Allo 'Allo.
The theatre was packed to capacity and the only thing amateur about it was that the cast and crew were not commanding massive fees for their appearance.
Everything about it was very professional, from the standard of the acting to the quality of the costumes and brilliant set design.
It would be really unfair to single out any one performer but I do have to say that the casting of Rene, Herr Flick and Edith was pure genius.
This laugh-a-minute show was as good as any professional production that I have seen and I can't wait for their next one. Well done and congratulations to all concerned.
