A MAN stuck on cliff at Osmington had to be rescued by a coastguard helicopter yesterday.
The man was winched off the cliff and received treatment for scratches.
And a woman was escorted off a cliff top in Durlston County Park by Swanage Coastguards after making a 999 call.
Coastguards towed a motor boat to safety after its propeller malfunctioned in Weymouth Bay at around 7pm yesterday.
The RNLI all-weather lifeboat was launched and the vessel, which had two people aboard, was guided safely into Weymouth.
And a fishing boat was towed to safety after it suffered a power failure near Swanage at around 11pm last night.
