ENTRANTS had plenty to bark about when they took part in the Weldmar Paws in the Park sponsored dog walk at Lulworth Castle.

A glorious day gave everyone perfect conditions for the event which saw walkers enjoy a 5.5 mile stroll round the grounds of the castle.

Co-organiser Katie Slade said: "We had 55 dogs in all and I thought it was a tremendous day.

"Everyone came back filthy dirty and covered in mud - and all the dogs went out clean and came back dirty but they all seemed to have enjoyed themselves because their tails were wagging.

"We are hoping to have raised more than £3,000 for Weldmar, but we won't know the final total until all the sponsorship money is in."
