YOUNG children have been offered sweets and lifts home in a number of suspicious incidents in North Dorset, police say.
The incidents took place in Gillingham, Howell and Stalbridge and at least two involved a small red vehicle - possibly a Peugeot.
Now Dorset Police are warning parents to be aware, remain vigilant and report any suspicions to officers.

A 12-year-old boy was offered a lift home in a red Peugeot in Gillingham.
A child was offered sweets by a customer in Dykes Stores in Stalbridge.
And a young girl, playing in her front garden in Holwell near Sherborne, was spoken to by two men in a red vehicle.
Inspector Phil Cheverton, of North Dorset Police, said: "The vehicle was a three-door model and may have had an N' suffix.
"It's important to stress that the incidents are over a five-week period and no actual offences have been committed. We do not wish to alarm any parents but feel it is right to bring it to their attention."
