Friends organise gardens clean-up

The Friends of Victoria Gardens on Portland are looking for volunteers to take part in a clean-up on Friday from 10am-noon.

Parks Department staff will be at the gardens to help and will be supplying the necessary equipment for litter picking and cleaning the graffiti from the playground area.

Portland Rotary Club has come up with a donation of £150 to kick-start the Friends of Victoria Gardens and have also offered help and advice in running the organisation.
