ST MARY'S Church in Puddletown became a film set as cameras started rolling again in Dorset.
Director Julian Fellowes and members of his cast and crew descended on Puddletown for the first day of filming on their new movie.
Children's fantasy From Time to Time will be shot mainly at Athelhampton House near Dorchester for the next three-and-a-half weeks.
The director - who won a screenwriting Oscar for Gosford Park in 2002 - chose Athelhampton House as his inspiration after moving to Dorset.
Dame Maggie Smith and Timothy Spall, who have both featured in the Harry Potter films, are starring in the movie.
The film is an adaptation of The Children of Green Knowle, a series of books by Lucy Bonnet.
Other locations to be used are the square in Puddletown, stables at Came House and Julian Fellowes' home at Stafford House.
Athelhampton House is closed to the public while filming takes place and will reopen on Sunday, October 26.
The shoot comes just a couple of months after blockbuster The Boat That Rocked was shot in Portland Harbour.
