Actor Martin Clunes has been dropped from a series of Churchill Insurance adverts after being disqualified from driving for speeding offences.
The decision came after the Doc Martin star, who lives near Beaminster, informed the company that he had been banned from holding a driving licence after accruing 12 points for speeding.
The 50-year-old had been appearing in the advertising campaign for almost a year.
