THREE cars were involved in a collision in Dorchester town centre this afternoon.
Police were called to the incident on Princes Street, near to the entrance to the Borough Gardens, at around 1.50pm.
The collision involved a Peugeot 207 estate and a Ford Focus estate, both registered to Dorchester women, as well as a BMW 118d registered to a Dorchester man that also collided with a tree.
Ambulance crews arrived on the scene and one woman was treated for a neck injury while another was checked over by paramedics.
The road was closed while the BMW was recovered and was reopened shortly after 3pm.

Very topical today of all days, 2 to 1, 2 female and one male driver involved on the day when it is said that it is now unlawful to let women have cheaper insurance than men, as statistically women are more careful than men.
Not in this instance!
Food for thought I think.
