FAMILIES had fun in the sun at the Bridport Charter Fair in the town centre.

The Rex Trevett Big Band got the event off to a swinging start before a host of entertainment during the day.

There were more than 30 stalls in South Street, Bridport Arts Centre and the Borough Gardens.

This year’s theme, sponsored by the Volunteer Centre, was voluntary work with people with disabilities.

Attractions also included a bouncy castle, coconut shy, skittles, face-painting and a fundraising gig by young musicians at Bridport Youth and Community Centre.
