A teenager suffered a broken jaw after being attacked by a gang of youths.
The 16-year-old boy was surrounded by a group of teenagers and struck to the face in Sherborn Crescent, outside Ad Astra First School, in Poole at around 8.30pm on Friday.
Detective Constable Vanessa Moyle, of Bournemouth and Poole CID, said: “The victim was walking with two other 16-year-old boys along Sherborne Crescent, in the direction of Adastral Road, when they were approached by a large group of young men. One member of the group punched this boy in the face.”
The victim was left with two breaks to his jaw, for which he was operated on at Poole Hospital.
