WEYMOUTH Pavilion theatre will stay open after councillors agreed to a £60,000 funding package.
Members of the borough council’s management committee yesterday voted to press ahead with the funding proposal.

this is the biggest white elephant in dorset why is this council still throwing money at it surely enough is enough.they cant even run a cafe properly,shut for half the week.listen to councellor farrell about the only one to talk sense.o i nearly forgot its for those wretched olympics that nobody wants.

The report mentioned a Sir Andy Blackwood, (a councillor). There apears to be no such a name on the register of Knighted people. This, I may add, is not the first time we have been caught out as the Echo Staff can confirm.
Does anyone know what is going on?
