TWO county councillors will not be returning to the borough council after being voted out.
Howard Legg, former Lib Dem councillor for Westham East, took on Conservative Peter Farrell in Melcombe Regis.
Coun Farrell, who won by 56 votes, said: “I’m extremely pleased that the public have put their faith in me.”
Mr Legg said: “I was originally going to retire anyway and then I decided to have a challenge and I had one.”
In Underhill, Conservative Tim Munro was ousted by Labour’s Sandy West.
Coun West thanked all the people that had voted for her and said she was delighted and couldn’t wait to start work. She said: “I’m gobsmacked, it’s unbelievable. I’m just bursting with pride for Underhill.
“We have to work together now. It’s a special year and we have to work together for Weymouth and Portland.”

And take on board how the general people of Weymouth would like the town run, without wasting more of the Taxayers money on stupid idea`s..
I doubt it.... the town needs "New Younger Blood" to take us forward, and get with the times..
