South West Train bosses will work harder to satisfy customers

SOUTH West Train bosses have promised to further improve customer journeys after the latest national survey revealed overall satisfaction on the network stands at 83 per cent.

However, five per cent of passengers surveyed by Passenger Focus said they were dissatisfied with South West Trains’ service.

SWT Customer service director Jake Kelly said: “Feedback from our passengers shows that the majority of our customers are satisfied with our overall service and we are above the average for our sector. But we know we have to work harder in a number of areas.”

So much for the desire to be greenest Olympics ever. Perhaps if the second track had been reinstated between Wool and Dorchester the railway could have coped with much more capacity for the Olympics and taken many more of the visitors to Weymouth.
