A DORCHESTER prep school has been named as one of the best in the South West.
Sunninghill has reached the Top 10 in The Sunday Times Parent Power list of independent preparatory schools in the region. And it has been named in the top 100 schools in the UK. It is one of only two Dorset schools to make the list, the other being Park School in Bournemouth.
An analysis of Key Stage 2 SAT outcomes at Level 5 from 2013 is used to rank state primary schools and independent preparatory schools.
Acting head at Sunninghill John Thorpe said: “We’re thrilled to make the Sunday Times top 100 prep schools. It’s re-assuring to know that our belief in individualised learning, offering a broad spectrum of opportunities in a nurturing, family ethos is making a real difference to our results.”
