CHILDREN are being invited to bring along their own back garden finds and learn all about them from archaeology experts at a half term event at the Dorset County Museum.

The family activity morning on Wednesday, May 27 will give youngsters the chance to find out about the fascinating world of archaeology, get hands on in an excavation put and enjoy a craft session.

The event runs from 10.30am to 12.30pm and there is no need to book with the activity provided free of charge thanks to Battens Solicitors' support of the museum through its charitable trust.

Up to two accompanied children aged between four and 12 will be admitted per adult.
