RESIDENTS still have time to give their views and help shape the future of policing in the county.

The Your Dorset. Your Police monthly survey on modernisation closes on September 1.

The force says it has had a large number of responses so far. Completing the survey is anonymous and you will be asked your views on topics such as Body Worn Video.

Dorset Police are in the process of trialling several different Body Worn Video (BWV) cameras.

Police and Crime Commissioner Martyn Underhill has said he feels the cameras are a vital part of both police and public safety.

Each month during the campaign, residents are asked to complete a survey on different policing topics. This will then help shape the way policing is carried out in Dorset.
