A DORCHESTER community, charity and company rallied round to help a young man live more independently.
Mid Dorset Mencap Group and Curry’s PC World in Dorchester assisted Louis Gale recently by helping him purchase some white goods for his new home.
Louis, has cerebral palsy, and has recently achieved his ambition to live independently and is about to move out of the family home into his own home in Tolpuddle.
With the help of the Tolpuddle Villagers, who raised funds for Mid Dorset Mencap at many various events, the group and staff at Curry’s PC World at Dorchester were able to help Louis purchase important goods for his new home.
Louis said that he “couldn’t wait” to move into his new home and thanked his new village neighbours, Mid Dorset Mencap and the staff at the Dorchester store for all their help.
