Firefighters rescued a cow from a swimming pool.
The curious bovine got itself stuck in a swimming pool outside a property in Plush, near Dorchester this evening.
A spokesman for Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "We received a call at 7.06pm this evening from a property owner to say there was a cow in his swimming pool.
"We mobilised one fire engine from Dorchester and the technical rescue unit from Poole. They attended and got the cow out of the pool."
The cow was not harmed. It is not known how the cow ended up in the pool.
