MARK Thomas will be coming to Dorchester with his work in progress, A Show That Gambles on the Future, in an attempt to make futurologists of all of the audience.
Mark sets out to discover what the future has in store for us by collecting and examining his own predictions and those of his audiences before gambling on their outcome.
Based along the lines of his 2011 show ‘Manifesto’, Mark takes suggestions from the audience to create a snapshot of the future.
One of the few stand-ups still to carry the political standard of alternative comedy, Mark Thomas is essentially an observational comic – only his observations tend to revolve around the crusading anti-corporate, anti-greed investigations he undertakes.
He will be coming to Dorchester Corn Exchange on Wednesday, July 19.
Tickets are available from the Dorchester Arts box office on 01305 266926, in person at the Corn Exchange (weekdays 10am to 4pm) or via dorchesterarts.org.uk
