SWINGING Jazz is set to play out to audiences at Woodcutts Manor this July, with tickets now on sale.

Two concerts of swinging 'classic' jazz music will take to the stage in the marquee on the lawn of the traditional 18th century Woodcutts Manor, between Tollard Royal and Sixpenny Handley, north Dorset.

The band, led by Dorset resident Hans Eekhoff, consists of eight well known musicians from the UK, Sweden and Holland with special guest star, the world famous pianist/trombonist Ulf Johansson Werre.

Ulf has been a guest musician at several concerts in Dorset over the past few years with his fabulous piano skills, in the styles of Fats Waller, Teddy Wilson, Art Tatum, as well as in the Boogie Woogie style. Ulf will also be playing trombone and vocalising with the band.

The concert on Saturday, July 29, takes place from 8pm until 11pm and on Sunday, July 30 from noon until 3pm. Guests are welcome to bring a picnic on the lawn.

Admission is £15 per person, per concert, there is a full bar service and free parking.

Visitors are able to turn up on the day, but pre-booking is advised. Call Woodcutts Manor on 01725 516260 or the Rushmore Estate office on 01725 516225.
