HOT off the press, the brand new Artsreach Autumn Programme features performances from more than 25 exciting companies and performers.

With the confirmation of arts council support until 2022, Artsreach continues to bring high quality performances of live music, theatre, dance and family shows to the heart of communities across rural Dorset, as it has for the past 27 years.

As always, audiences can expect a high quality depth and breadth of productions, with more than 60 performances set to take place in village halls, churches and other community spaces right across Dorset.

Music lovers can enjoy a real medley of styles and genres from performers both national and international.

Enjoy the celebratory and soulful music of Jewish Eastern Europe and beyond with the London Klezmer Quartet, who launch the season at the end of September.

Boasting some of the best instrumentalists that Scotland has to offer, Moishe's Bagel return for the first time since 2013 with rip-roaring, foot-stomping, jazz-inflected klezmer and Balkan music.

Award-winning transatlantic folk duo Hickman & Cassidy make their Artsreach debut, whilst the genre-defying Bingcows perform everything from medieval Eurpoean dances to Irish harp music on a fascinating range of percussive and fretted instruments.

Artsreach continue their partnership with the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, bringing ensembles to rural venues. This season the Resonate Strings and Principal Winds will present programmes in the county. Virtuoso Spanish guitarist Eduardo Niebla presents a new programme accompanied by guitarist Daniel Martinez Lopez and Indian tabla player Dharmesh Parmar.

The young, vibrant and dynamic Laurent Quartet celebrates the wonderful sonority of classical chamber music. Serbia’s leading Roma violinist Branko Ristic and UK accordionist Faith Ristic perform high-energy original Roma/Jazz influenced music with their band Faith i Branko.

Award-winning British jazz violinist Christian Garrick and his quintet give tribute to the great French Maestro Stephane Grapelli. Finally, Chris Newman & Maire Ni Chathasaigh perform a ‘Festive Feast of Harp and Guitars’, whilst The Ridgeway Singers and Band present another traditional Dorset Christmas with West Gallery Carols.
