WEYMOUTH and Dorchester choir Dorset for Singing will be busy singing next month in two festive concerts and its leader performing at a special New Year's Eve party.

On Wednesday December 6 at 7.30pm, the choir will be singing at the United Church Dorchester in aid of the MS Society. Admission is £5 on the door for adults, under 16s go free. There will be tea, coffee and mince pies during the interval in exchange for a donation.

On Thursday December 7 at 7.30pm they will sing at All Saints School, Wyke Regis in aid of M.V. Freedom, the boat that enables the disabled to experience the freedom of the sea. Admission is £5 on the door, under 16s free, bring your own food and drink. Raffle drawn on the night.

On Sunday December 31, there is a New Year Extravaganza at Osmington Village Hall with choir leader Ed Hintze. It begins at 8pm and runs until 12.30am in aid of St Osmund's Church Funds. There will be live entertainment from Ed, party games, light supper, bubbly on arrival and at midnight plus a quiz.
