The pair have long established themselves as one of the UK folk scene's most rewardingly enduring partnerships.

Crowned winners of the BBC Radio 2 Folk Award for Best Duo 2013 & 2016, the couple's intimacy and strength of passion on stage have won them many fans and an enviable reputation for their original songwriting. The gig starts at 7.30pm. Call 01929 471002 for tickets.

*ENJOY some theatre on Portland tonight (12).

Team Viking by Tangram Theatre will be performed at the Royal Manor Theatre at Fortuneswell at 7.30pm.

Five years ago, James's best friend Tom was diagnosed with heart cancer and given three months to live. His last wish was to be given a full Viking burial. This is the remarkable, hilarious, heart-lifting and outlandish story of how James actually gave his best mate the send-off he wanted. Call 0333 666 3366 for tickets.

The show is also at Winfrith Newburgh tomorrow night at 7.30pm. Call 01305 853783 for tickets.

*JAZZ Jurassica is set to banish the winter blues with its new season of music, beginning tomorrow (13).

Leigh Coleman with the Matt Carter Trio will perform at the Lyme supper club at the Marine Theatre.

Leigh Coleman, aka “Soulman Coleman”, has worked with the likes of Joss Stone, Beverley Knight and the legendary Betty Wright in the States.

He’s one of the most passionate jazz funk singers around, equally at ease with swinging Sinatra-style classics or the get-down boogies of Stevie Wonder.
