A STAGING of classic radio scripts based on favourite episodes from an original TV series will be making Dorchester Corn Exchange laugh this weekend.
Just two actors will play 25 characters from much loved Second World War comedy Dad's Army Radio Hour, which ran on BBC One from 1968 to 1977.
Celebrating 50 years of Perry and Croft’s quintessential sitcom, actors David Benson and Jack Lane will have the audience laughing uncontrollably at no end of familiar one-liners, including the immortal words “Don’t tell him, Pike” recently voted Britain’s favourite comedy one liner in a poll of comedians conducted Gold.
