Hi readers, so it’s only three days left to Christmas and we are still running around like turkeys trying to get everything done, although unlike them, we hope not to get eaten on Christmas Day!

We are lucky as we both have a lovely Christmas to look forward to. I (Adam) will walk to the Sun Inn and share Christmas lunch with Mum and Grandma. Afterwards I’ll relax at home and probably watch Christmas movies. On Boxing Day we spend time together at my Auntie Helen’s.

I (William) can’t wait as my sister and her son are over from America and are spending it with me and my parents. I’m especially excited about seeing my nephew as he’s only seven and loves Christmas as much as I do. After church we have breakfast, then open our presents. It’s soon lunchtime and after watching the Queen’s speech, we’ll play games and relax.

For us it usually passes all too quickly. But not everyone will have such a lovely time. We know there are many people who find Christmas a very difficult time of the year, and we think a lot about how hard that must be. Perhaps your family is divided? Maybe you don’t have any family? Or you live on your own? You might be ill or in hospital? Some of you might even have to spend time with people you don’t really get on with!

Whatever your situation, wherever you are, we both send a prayer to everyone who could do with some extra love and care this Christmas. If we could share our Christmas with everyone who doesn’t enjoy it, to make it happier for them, we would. But as that isn’t really practical in our flats, we send our love and prayers.

Happy Christmas to you all.
