Hi Readers

This week I am talking about Easter.

I know it’s a bit early but there is a good reason why I want to write about it this week. Read on to find out.

So, I like Easter for several reasons. One is that I go and stay with my parents for a few days, which is nice because I enjoy spending time with them. I also like to help by mowing their lawn. They will hopefully give me an Easter Egg, which may not be good for my waistline, but it’s only once a year!

It’s also really good to have a few days off work, and one thing I’ll be doing is relaxing in front of some good films on TV. I love being outside too as it’s a lovely time of year.

But Easter isn’t just about chocolate, films and walks for me. I will also be going to Church on Easter Sunday to remember Jesus’ resurrection, and that he died to save us.

As some of you may already know, I help Dorchester Baptist Church put on inclusive services throughout the year. This Sunday 9th April, we are having our Easter Service Celebration at Dorchester Baptist Church from 4 -6pm. The theme is Topsy Turvy and there will be puppets (one of these is me!), drama, songs, crafts and fun. There is also a delicious tea to follow. Many of my friends from the Friendship Club will also be taking part so do come along and support us if you can, as it’s open to everyone – it’s good fun and you can meet a lot of new people!

Next week tune in, as I’ve got Matthew writing with me again, and we’ll be talking about Spring.
