A festive fair will be coming to St George's Studios on Portland this month.

Artists and makers, Tiffany Scull, Lyn Kirkland, Ian Baird, Duncan Park and Caro Lester, will be decking their studios with a range of seasonal gifts and beautiful art.

The gifts on offer will include wall art, traditional prints, paintings, tree decorations, greetings cards, bags and much more.

The Portland stone studios are set around a courtyard, which the artists will be decorating with paper-cut snowflakes, lights, holly and evergreens.

Mulled cider, mince pies and other seasonal bakes will be available to add to the festive cheer.

Caro said: “We are looking forward to making this unique venue look really special at our first Festive Open Studios, and to welcoming both new and returning visitors.”

The festival fair will be held on Saturday, November 25 and Sunday, November 26, 10am until 5pm.

In addition, on Saturday, November 25 there will be a Craft Market at Christmas in the adjacent Grade II-listed St George’s Centre, run by the Isle of Portland Heritage Trust. A sample of the handmade items for sale include beaded jewellery, hand-knitted gloves, hats, shawls and jumpers, stained glass, ceramics, screenprints, Christmas table decorations and wreaths, giving a wealth of present ideas.
