A FORCE to be reckoned with will be taking rural Dorset by storm next week.

Diva, temptress, vocal sensation and acrobat Charlie Bicknell will appear in this unique cabaret show, touring with Artsreach following high recommendation from audience members.

Charlie first became a household name playing Delilah in BBC2′s This Life and subsequently starred as Scout in Ben Elton’s West End hit Popcorn. Continuing to work as an actress for the National Theatre and rep around the UK, Charlie moved into cabaret and started to devise her own work, performing all over the world; from the living room of the Portuguese Embassy to the Sydney Opera House and The London Hippodrome.

Packed with anarchy, wit and comic ingenuity, Charlie performs songs ranging from Tim Minchin to Meatloaf, Jacques Brel to Bond, and darkly humorous originals which include acrobatic antics!

Described by The Observer as “A one woman weapon of mass distraction…kicking, thriving, surprising, shocking and always delighting”, Charlie is accompanied by an exceptional pianist.

Expect a magnificent evening’s entertainment full of darkly comic, twisted songs and theatrical flair! Be aware, this show is suitable for those ages 15+.
