A driver had a lucky escape when his car veered off the road.
The incident happened at around 9.30am today, near the Bere Regis roundabout.
Some traffic was reported in the area while emergency services dealt with the situation.
Pictures by Purbeck Patrol Sergeant Roan Doyle show how the car, a black Volkswagen Lupo, had left the road and came to a stop in a clump of trees.
A spokesman for Dorset Police said they responded to a one-vehicle road traffic collision at 9.33am and that no one was injured.
Recovery was arranged for the vehicle and the road was clear by 10.30am.
The incident happened on the junction of the A35 and the A31.
