Do you know this man?
Police have released CCTV images of a man they want to speak to in connection with the theft of a wallet.
Officers said an offender gained access to a car that was parked off the High Street in Lytchett Matravers.
The victim’s wallet and chainsaw had been stolen.
The incident happened sometime between 8.30am and 1pm on Wednesday, February 15, but polcie have only just released details.
Following the incident, the victim – a man aged in his 50s and from Wimborne – discovered his bank card had been used for contactless payments at five stores between Sandford and Swanage.
Police Constable Clare Gillard, of Purbeck police, said: “As part of my investigation I am now in a position to issue CCTV images of a man I would like to identify and speak with.
“I would urge anyone who recognises the man pictured to please contact Dorset Police.”
