There was traffic drama this evening as a fallen tree blocked a major road.
Both sides of the A35 at Bloxworth were blocked by a tree which had fallen across the road, causing long tailbacks.
Jon Fells, 32, from Weymouth, said one driver used a chainsaw to cut the tree into pieces.
Several people then helped to remove the pieces from the road.
The road was blocked at around 5pm and the tree was cleared by 5.20pm.
