ENJOY and afternoon of jazz on the high-seas.
The Jazz by the Sea Festival will take place across multiple venues in Poole and Bournemouth from June 11-17th.
There will be live performances in retail outlets, shopping arcades, hotels, bars, restaurants, clubs and pubs as well as in public areas, and musicians will also be playing from the festival’s unique Jazzmobile each day during festival week.
On Sunday, June 11, jazz fans are invited to join Jazz by the Sea Festival on board the Dorset Queen, a recently restored 1920’s classic passenger boat, for an afternoon of jazz on the high seas.
Jazz music will be provided on the day by Chris Walker’s Pedigree Hot 5 Trad Jazz Band, with the Dorset Queen setting sail at 2pm, although the restored boat will be docked at Poole Quay from 12 noon for passers-by to enjoy some British trad jazz.
