The Lighthouse’s Sherling Studio is a perfect place to introduce young children to the delights of live theatre, and the new autumn season at Lighthouse provides plenty of opportunities to do just that.

Great Odds on October 18 - a co-production between Lighthouse and Mac’s Arcadian - is a story about identity, who we are and what we need to be to achieve our dreams. Integrating visual storytelling, British Sign Language, live music, sound and puppetry, it’s ideal for children aged 6-11 and their families.

During half term the Soap Soup Theatre combines beautiful puppetry and magical music in The Pixies’ Scarf on October 24.

And on October 28, Shackleton tells a tall tale about stepping out of your comfort zone and saying yes to adventure. This fun and memorable musical tale of one man and his dog rediscovering the thrills of adventure is suitable for children aged 4 upwards.
