FOLK fans clear your diary for Thursday, March 16 at 7.30pm, as the best local folk bands will be jostling for space on the Arts Centre stage to whet our appetite for Bridport Folk Festival this summer.
A small group of folk fans, who resist being called a committee, consisting of Denise and Ian Buchanan, David Greenshields and Chris Deacon are organising the event as a fundraiser for the Folk Festival.
The Arts Centre is hosting the concert where Denise’s band The Lost Souls will make their Arts Centre debut.
The fundraiser line-up includes The Pickwicks, Elfentale, HiDDen, Mitch Norman, Silver Chix and Chris Deacon’s Acoustic Rooster with Alan Twelftree on accordion, Maurice Blogg on guitar and Rob Malpas on banjo.
