A motorcyclist has suffered "serious injuries" after a three-vehicle crash, according to Dorset Police.
The incident occurred on the B3157 between Clay Lane and Swyre Road near West Bexington.
Police were called to the crash, which was between a motorbike, a van and one other vehicle, at 1.36pm on Saturday.
It was initially reported that only a van and a motorbike were involved.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said today that the injured motorcyclist was taken to Dorset County Hospital by ambulance for treatment, adding that he is still there.
The two fire crews also attended the crash and assisted the ambulance service with casualty care.
The B3157 was temporarily closed near West Bexington because of the crash, disrupting traffic between Swyre and Abbotsbury, but it was reopened later on Saturday afternoon.
