OVER October half term Gail McGarva's Story Boat at the Marine Theatre, Lyme Regis, attracted many children.
The youngsters took part in workshops hearing the stories of the motherboat, sharing their own memories of the sea and trying their hand at boatbuilding in miniature form.
The story boat will be in residence at the Marine Theatre until December 18 and can be boarded most days.
It's open from Monday to Saturday from 10am to 4pm and on Sunday December 17 at 7pm. You can enjoy a performance at the Marine of Gail's Voices of the Sea, an unusual and atmospheric performance piece with original songs and fragments of narrative.
