Families in Dorset are invited to travel on an artic adventure with Bone Ensemble, who present their magical new production Where’s My Igloo Gone? at two venues this half term with Artsreach, the touring arts charity.

The tour will be stopping in Mountjoy School, Beaminster on Tuesday for a relaxed performance.

Oolik is an ordinary girl who goes on an extraordinary journey. Sitting in her igloo, a drop of water falls on her head. Then another! Is her home melting? Join Oolik as she set off to find help on a journey into a dazzling, Arctic world of soaring snow geese, pet husky dogs and starry nights, and the kind of cold that makes your skin tingle! Travelling through snowstorms, across oceans and into our hearts, Oolik is not the kind of girl to give up on her quest...

Bone Ensemble is committed to creating high quality new work that is thought-provoking, risk-taking, and which seeks a meaningful encounter with those who experience it. Visual in nature and featuring enchanting live music, this fun, magical adventure shows that when we work together, anything can happen! Suitable for ages 5+ and their families, ‘Where’s My Igloo Gone?’ comes to Mountjoy School in Beaminster (01305 269512) on Tue 13 Feb at 2pm, and Durweston Village Hall (01258 488883) on Wed 14 Feb at 3pm. Further information and tickets are available from www.artsreach.co.uk

Please note that the event at Beaminster is a Relaxed Performance. Designed for those on the autistic spectrum, with sensory, communication or learning difficulties and anyone else who would benefit from a less formal environment, their family and carers, this means that there is a relaxed attitude to noise and audience members are free to leave and re-enter the show at any point.
