Police and an ambulance were called to the scene of a crash involving two vehicles outside Beaminster.
A Blue Ford Fusion and a Grey VW Tiguan were involved in the crash just after 2pm on the A356 east of Beaminster in West Dorset, near the junction with the B3163 towards Corscombe.
Police attended the scene and recovery was requested, as was an ambulance.
Crews checked over the occupants of the vehicles, but no serious injuries were reported.
The road blocked in both directions so a diversion through Beaminster was established and a highways team attended to clear up fluid left on the road.
The A356 has now been reopened in both directions and traffic is said to be easing.
Police departed the scene just after 3.30 pm.
