TAILS are wagging at a dog charity after a bumper donation from a Weymouth pet store.
Pets at Home in the town selected Greyhound Rescue West of England as its chosen charity partner for its summer fundraising campaign earlier in the year.
It ran collections at the store and also received donations from store staff from in-store fundraising initiatives.
Pets at Home also donated all of the ticket sales from the chain’s national summer raffle to the charity and amassed a total of £1,324.59.
Store manager Kevin Wells handed over a cheque for the funds to Liz Baker from the charity.
